What's one skincare lesson you wish someone had taught you when you were a tween?
That less really is best. I wish someone had told me I didn't need lots of products—just a gentle cleanser, moisturiser and sunscreen every day. Protecting your skin early is one of the best things you can do.
How do you encourage your daughter to feel confident in her natural skin?
I always remind Milla that healthy skin is beautiful skin and that she doesn't need makeup or filters to be enough or look like others. I want her to see skincare as self-care, not something she needs to "fix" about herself.
What's the biggest skincare myth you believed growing up that you now know isn't true?
I believed that the more products you used, the better your skin would be. Now I know that overdoing it can actually do more harm than good, and a simple routine is often the most effective.
How do you balance teaching good skincare habits without making beauty routines feel like a pressure or obsession?
We keep it fun and simple. Our routine is about taking care of our skin because it's healthy, not because we're trying to look perfect. Sunscreen is the one non-negotiable, and everything else stays age-appropriate.
If you could give your younger self one piece of advice about skincare and self-confidence, what would it be?
Your skin doesn't define your worth. Be kind to yourself, wear sunscreen every day, and don't compare yourself to what you see online. Confidence will always outshine perfect skin.
Bonus 💜 What do you love about Glow&Go for the next gen and why?
I love that Glow&Go encourages the next generation to embrace simple, healthy skincare instead of chasing trends. It teaches kids that looking after their skin is about protecting it, not changing it.
